We are still developing this page but there are some photos of where we will be visiting. Pricing is still in the works. Once we have the cost of transportation in Nicaragua, we will be ready.
All visitors will arrive in the capital of Nicaragua, Managua, to begin (it is the only international airport in the country). Our first night will be in Managua to get acclimated to our situation.
Our second and third nights will be in Matagalpa at the Selva Negra and beautiful private farm where we source a couple of coffees from this family and they serve as our export company at times. A tour of the coffee farm and/or wildlife tour are available here.
Day four will be traveling to the Jalapa where we have our farms that are directly sourced. Nights 4,5,6 will be in Jalapa visiting the local farms and small city. This is where Amanda is from and where we source The Rocks. We will visit the farm and home of Joel Avila, the producer of The Rocks up in the mountains where tourists don’t go that often. We will be visiting a farm on the Honduran Border where another friend produces coffee and avocados. The majority of his farm is virgin forest which he has been protecting for more than 30 years. The last farm visit will be our small farm where we have been reforesting and growing a very diverse food forest along with mahogany and cedar trees.
Day 7 will be traveling to Leon to the beach on the pacific for some relaxation while a visit to the old colonial city of Leon. Two nights at the beach, nights 7,8.
Day 9 We will be traveling to the other big colonial city of Granada which is on the northern edge of the largest lake in all of Central America. We will be doing a small boat tour of the islands of Granada. Visiting the chocolate museum and enjoying the historic sights and culture of Nicaragua. Nights 9,10
Day 11 Return to the Airport. We will be dropping you off at the airport and saying our goodbyes.
